FAQ
Which headers do I paste in?+
Just the Received: lines from the raw message source. In Gmail that's Show original, in Outlook it's message options or View source. Extra headers around them are ignored, only lines starting with Received: get parsed.
Does it flag spoofing or calculate the delay between hops?+
No. It pulls the from host, the by host, and the timestamp out of each Received line and lists them in origin to destination order. Comparing the timestamps to spot a slow hop, and judging whether a host looks wrong, is still a manual read.
Do my headers get uploaded anywhere?+
No. The parsing runs in your browser on the text in the box. Nothing is sent to a server, so pasting headers from a real message is fine.
