About Outsolvi

We built Outsolvi because every email tracker we used was lying to us.

Outsolvi runs confidence-scored open tracking across Outlook and Gmail for account executives who need the engagement signal to be actionable, not theatrical. The dashboard doesn't say 47 opens when only 3 of them were the buyer. It says 3 high-confidence opens, flagged in real time, with the rest filtered out.

Why we built it

The founding observation is small but consequential. Around 2022, Apple Mail Privacy Protection started pre-fetching the tracking pixel on every email delivered to an iPhone or Mac. Gmail's image proxy had been doing something similar for years. By 2024, roughly half of every reported email open in B2B sales was a proxy hit, not a human read. Every existing tracker on the market kept counting them as opens.

The teams we were on at the time would see 70-80% open rates on cold campaigns and 2% reply rates. Everyone knew the numbers didn't reconcile, but no tool would tell us which opens to trust. So reps treated all opens as suspect and stopped acting on the signal. The whole investment in email tracking quietly stopped paying back.

Outsolvi is the version of email tracking that survives 2026 mailbox-provider behavior. Confidence tiers (1 through 5) on every open. Real-time hot-lead alerts when a Tier 1 open lands in the first 4 hours. AI reply sentiment to triage incoming threads. Native install in both Outlook and Gmail with one unified dashboard. From $7/user/month billed yearly.

The team

Nate Summers
Co-Founder, Outsolvi

Nate writes most of the editorial content on this site and runs the confidence-scoring methodology behind the product. His background is in B2B sales — he's the AE-buyer persona we built Outsolvi for. The product was built because he kept watching his own dashboard lie to him about what his prospects were doing.

How we approach the content on this site

Every piece of writing on outsolvi.com — the blog, the tools, the comparison pages, the glossary — is written by someone who builds the product and uses it daily. We are not a content farm. We do not generate filler. When a page goes up, it is because we genuinely think the reader needs the specific information in the specific shape we built.

We publish comparison pages that name competitors directly because pretending they don't exist makes the page useless. We try to be fair to the tools we compare against — when Yesware or Mailtrack does something better than we do, we say so. The reader can tell when a page is honest. So can Google.

When mailbox-provider rules change (Apple MPP, Gmail bulk-sender requirements, Microsoft 365 link-scanning behavior), we rewrite the affected pages within 14 days. The "Last reviewed" date at the bottom of every page is the real date of the last review, not an auto-touched timestamp.

Our methodology — how we compute confidence scores, where our benchmarks come from, what testing environment we use — is documented on a separate page so you can verify our work.
