What it does

Quota ÷ ACV = deals needed; deals ÷ win rate = opps needed; opps ÷ meeting-to-opp = meetings needed; meetings ÷ meeting-per-100-accounts = accounts needed.

When to use

Quarterly territory planning. Before a list-build engagement with a research firm. Reality-check on aggressive board-set list-size targets.

FAQ

How does it get from my quota to a list size?+

It chains four divisions. Quota divided by ACV gives deals, deals divided by win rate gives opps, opps divided by your meeting-to-opp rate gives meetings, and meetings divided by your meetings-per-100-accounts rate gives accounts to source.

Does it tell me which accounts to target?+

No. It only does the math on the five numbers you type in. It has no company database and no list of accounts, so sourcing the names is still your job or your data provider's.

What if I don't know my meetings-per-100-accounts rate?+

Pull it from last quarter: meetings booked divided by accounts actually touched, times 100. If you have no history, 3 per 100 is a common cold-outbound starting point, and you should replace it with your real number as soon as you have one.
