What's the character limit for a connection note?+
LinkedIn allows 300 characters on a connection request note. The tool shows a live count against that limit and turns red if the draft goes over, since LinkedIn will reject it.
Does it send the request for me?+
No. It writes the note and counts the characters. You copy the text into LinkedIn and send the request yourself, and it has no access to your LinkedIn account.
Why does the note need a trigger?+
A note that says wanted to connect gives the person no reason to accept. Naming something specific, like a funding announcement or a launch, is the whole difference between a note and a blank request.
